Heinz is set to launch two new flavors to its baby dessert pots range - Fruity Pudding with Banana and Oats, and Fruity Yogurt Peach, in an attempt to drive category consumption.

The new flavors have been designed for babies aged four to 36 months for a four pack of 100g pots and provide a convenient dessert pot. Each pot contains one of their babies' five a day and contain no added sugar and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

The Heinz Dessert Pots range is seeing growth of +42%, according to the company.

Heinz assistant brand manager Mark Blay said after the success of the existing Heinz Dessert Pots range the company wanted to launch two new flavors that offer more variety while retaining the nutritional benefits.

"By using our research to identify the most popular flavours with mums, we have created two new exciting dessert pots that mums are comfortable giving to their babies and think that they would enjoy," Blay added.
