Italy-based GIDUE has introduced a new concept for the flexographic printing: the Digital Flexo technology for customers wanting quality, efficiency and profitability.

With the Digital Flexo technology made of flexographic presses, GIDUE proposed a new vision for the labels and packaging industry, to fully automate print pressure and lateral and cross register.

When GIDUE first industrialized the Print Tutor model, it applied first to the mid-web and offset multi-process machines and then to the flexographic ones.

The press automatically runs the printing process, substituting the operator hands and eyes with HD digital cameras set on each printing unit 'read' and manage the print pressure, the color density and the image register, servo-adjusting them to achieve superior printing outcomes.

The machine ensures higher printing quality and significant waste reduction since everything is digitalized which allows the press operator to better focus on achieving the best outcomes, also during operational production phases.
